Max and Tiffany chose to elope at sunrise with the Stawamus Chief as the backdrop for their ceremony. Early in the morning the area was quiet, with soft light coming over the mountains and the valley still calm.
They exchanged their vows in front of the Chief with just the two of them present, making the moment feel incredibly personal and relaxed.
After their ceremony, we explored a second location nearby that sits even closer to the Chief along the river. This area has open fields, shoreline, and incredible views of the mountain. The morning light reflecting off the water created a beautiful setting for their portraits.
Moving between a couple of nearby locations allowed us to capture a variety of landscapes while still keeping everything simple and relaxed. Within a short amount of time we were able to photograph them in the forest, along the river, and in open fields with the Chief towering in the background.
By the time most people were starting their day, Max and Tiffany had already finished their ceremony and explored some of the best scenery Squamish has to offer.
